Its also crazy that MSIs own 'Live update 6' updater couldnt not see the card properly and there was no option to manually download the drivers on the support site. I just cant understand why Windows 10 wouldnt be able to recognize a GTX 1660 Super from a major company like MSI.
It was checked for updates 5,152 times by the users of our client application UpdateStar during the last month. 170w of stock 670) while keeping the max at ~180w (or whatever it is).something to that effect. ASUS Live Update is a Freeware software in the category System Utilities developed by ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. New TDP is probably just barely lower than 670 at stock so it won't piss nvidia off.like 165w (vs. Hmm.wonder if it was something as simple as boosting over 1100mhz clocks went over 150w by just a smidge. Obviously when overclocking people up the tdp hence why over 1100mhz is often stable, and that is probably what these cards are doing (to some extent.likely not even close to the full range) with the new bios. MSI is 1098.but also according to Shrout over at PCper had a lower tdp boost range.+14% vs 23-25% from everyone else (insinuating they already upped the power level 10% the stock cap). I need a full UEFI support for the card and need a firmware that fits my exact variant. The output of 'TechPowerUp GPU-Z' is as the following. NET Framework 4.5.2 installed, which replaces 4.0 for Windows 8 (I also ran a repair install). Hello, I have the 'msi GTX 670 (2GB)' graphic card and I would like to request the UEFI compatible firmware for it.
The cards I've seen this mentioned about seem to boost above 1100mhz at stock. I have the MSI GTX 970 Gaming Golden edition and Ive been wanting to check for a BIOS update, however, the Live Update application says 'this platform is not supported.' Im using Windows 8.1 64 Bit Pro and I have. Wonder if that is what the whole 'Nvidia does not condone cards clocked above 1100mhz' thing was about. Were these chips not sufficiently binned to run their clock within the stock voltage/tdp set by nvidia? I'm all for improving products, but I'm curious what is going on.
